In support of recent company growth, our client are expanding their HR team with the newly created HR Advisor position. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional committed to continuous improvement, to support the development of their existing HR service and its delivery across the business.
As a HR Advisor, you will work across your designated client group, supporting the full employee lifecycle, while contributing to key initiatives within Learning & Development and Recruitment. Additionally, you will assist the Head of HR with various project work and will be instrumental in reviewing processes and policies to drive continuous improvement across the HR function.
This role requires a solid understanding of UK employment law and the ability to apply it to complex casework. A data-driven mind-set and excellent attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Manage and lead casework for your client group, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance investigations, and other people-related matters. Escalate complex cases as needed to the Head of HR.
- Data Management: Interpret HR data to inform stakeholder conversations, identify trends within your client group, and propose solutions.
- Family Leave: Manage maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, and adoption cases.
- Policy Review: Update and revise HR processes and policies in line with business requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of HR, Learning & Development Manager, and Recruitment Manager to support day-to-day tasks and key projects. Collaborate within the HR Advisory team to share best practices.
About You:
- Essential: CIPD Level 5 (minimum), strong knowledge of UK employment law, and experience in a similar HR Advisor role within a growing business. Must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Desirable: Experience working in a business partnering structure.
Additional Information:
This role may involve occasional travel to offices across the UK.
